Individual
Counseling

If we work together for individual counseling, we will first start with an initial assessment during which we will discuss your history, current concerns, goals for counseling, and any other questions you may have about the counseling process. This process may take up to 2-3 sessions, depending on what you are coming in for. Once we are done with the assessment, we will move on to working on your presenting issue. All sessions are 60 minutes long, and the fee for each session is $150, due at the time of service.

I see clients between 9am and 1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

I am currently out-of-network with all insurance providers. This means that you will be seeing me as an out-of-network provider and will be responsible for the full fee of $150 per session. You are welcome to file your own out-of-network claims with your insurance provider - however, you will be responsible for confirming any out-of-network benefits you have, and I make no guarantees of coverage. Please note that most standard health insurance policies will require there to be a DSM-V diagnosis on the claim in order for the services provided to qualify for reimbursement. Insurance companies require that counseling is "medically necessary" in order to be covered.

If you are not planning to file out-of-network claims with your insurance company, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost (click here for more info.)

I am currently accepting clients for issues related to the transition to parenthood and other issues related to parental mental health (for some examples of the various issues I work with, please go to my "About Me" page). My practice is not limited to moms - I enjoy working with anyone who is in this stage of life, which can also include dads, partners, parents who have carried a baby and parents who haven't, people who are trying to conceive, people who are on their first child or their fifth child, or people who are coming to parenthood`through avenues such as surrogacy, adoption, or kinship. I am LBTGQ-affirming and enjoy working with individuals of all sexual and gender identities.
